- Keep the licence, seller identity and payment details consistent.
- Use Noon’s current checklist for your seller type.
- Plan products, fulfilment and returns before launch.
Which business is opening the seller account?
Start with the legal entity, authorised person and current trade licence. Make sure the planned product categories fit the licence scope. If the storefront uses a brand name, keep a clear record of which company owns and operates it.
Noon’s trade licence guidance explains the licensing step for Dubai businesses. Use the marketplace’s current onboarding instructions for the rest of the account requirements, rather than assuming every seller application needs the same documents.
Get the records to agree before submitting
Check spelling, company names, authorisation and document validity across the file. Confirm the requested bank and tax information for your circumstances. An accountant can help review the tax position; a marketplace field should not be your only basis for a tax decision.
- Choose the legal seller and proposed product range.
- Confirm the relevant licence activities.
- Review Noon’s current seller checklist.
- Prepare company, identity and payment records.
- Resolve product and fulfilment questions before going live.
Can the product be sold and delivered as planned?
A marketplace accepting an application is only one part of the launch. Check product approvals, brand permissions, labelling and any import requirements. Identify who is responsible for keeping that evidence current as the catalogue grows.
Consider a seller adding a fragile imported product to an existing range. Packaging, importer details, return handling and storage may all need review. Treat that as a change in the operating plan, not just another photograph on a product page.
Build a budget around the fulfilment model
Review the current platform terms and charges for your chosen model. Include delivery, storage, returns, damaged goods and the timing of payouts. Give the bookkeeper enough information to connect sales, fees and settlements without relying on the balance shown in a dashboard.
If you intend to sell through more than one marketplace, discuss that combined plan during formation. The legal company and product permissions should support the actual trading model.
Kompani Setup can help organise a suitable company setup brief and itemised quote. Marketplace acceptance remains Noon’s decision, so keep that application outcome separate from the formation service.
